A home remedy for toothache until my dentist reopens?!

Either clove oil (which I don't care for because it will numb your whole mouth); Oragel, or when I was a kid they used to tuck a whole clove between my gums and cheek/lip next to the toothache. Let it sit there for awhile. You almost won't know it's there after a few minutes. At this point, anything you take will only help to take the edge off the pain, won't completely take it away.
Also take some ibruprofen to help with any inflammation and it will also help to reduce the pain.

Get cloves from your grocer and suck one. Take Ibuprofen but watch the maximum dose carefully.

I would use a washcloth and switch between cold and warm water. or you could use orajel or any other type of tootache medicine.

I like to soak a towel in ice cold water and bit on it. It relives the pain and feels good.
try a drop of whiskey, swish it around your mouth for a while then swallow or spit it out. This also works for mouth ulcers.
clove oil is supposed to help. there is also good ol ora gel. These are temporary. You could always just get anfd stay really drunk? Justmessin. Hope you feel better.

prayer and sleep. find something to catch your attention so you dont think about the pain as much. or pinch yourself so the pain from the pinch is worse than the pain of the tooth ache. Or rinse your mouth with peroxide.
