So i got spacers a couple days ago...?!

Question: the first day was like. alright.

the second day i couldnt eat at all because it hurt too much, i could barely touch my teeth with the food. (except my two front teeth and bottom two i suppose)

its now the fourth day and it still feels the same..
not really hurting that much, except when i eat.

how long does the pain last? does it get worse?

will they start to hurt even when youre not eating?

Eventually, they will settle after a couple days.
However, when you get braces in, it will do the same thing, over and over again every time they adjust the wires. The reason is that the teeth move, plain and simple. Because the teeth move, your gums have to adjust to the teeth's new positions, which is the cause of the pain. You pretty much agitate it when you bite down into anything.

mine didnt really hurt too long.
i think it depends on how close your teeth are to eachother.
when their closer together the spacers have to fit into a tighter space.
soo i am guessing your teeth were really close together, and i think you could try like sucking on an ice cube or something i guess. i dont know.
it seems like forever ago that i had mine so i dont really remember

you will get used to it for sure. ive had them and you just gotta find a way to eat thats comfortable and dont eat too much chewy foods cause that'll hurt more. after some time .. you wont feel them!
