I have a horrible toothache, what would help?

I have no medicine that helps, i have already tried swishing warm water with salt in it in my mouth, i need home remedies (i had the book, but lost it somehow). any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

it is the upper back left toothe. the pain has been coming and going for the past few years, and now it is the worst its ever been...

Clove Oil. Most health stores and pharmacies will carry it. Simply saturate a cotton ball or 2x2 bandage, and place on the tooth. Clove oil is a natural antiseptic and anesthetic. This can be repeated as often as necessary. Get to a dentist as soon as possible.
