Can you correct this one for me,Dental Hyginist vs dentist?!
Question: I wanna do 2 yrs as a dental hygiene.and I wanna work as a DH and I wanna go to school for the $ YR so I can apply for NY U for dentistry,
what is the best way to do that?
what do I need to do that,I know I need BS but in what? what is the requirement and is it possible to do so,
the reason why i thought this way because I need income and I think DH will give some income and time so I can be a dentist.any suggestion and what is the requirement to be a dentist?

You need at least an associate degree in dental hygiene to work as one. This could take two to three years. To get in you need A's and B's. Then you pass your boards and get to work. The next step would be to apply for dental school. I am not sure if you need to get your Bachelors degree before applying for dental school= but if you do get one in business because from what i hear they don't have a lot of business classes, and to succeed in dentistry you need to have a business sense.
