You should NOT be WAITING for your appointment. You must be seen today. DO NOT ACCEPT NO for an answer from the dental secretary. If she will not get you in today, tell her you will be reporting the dentist to his licensing body. My guess is that she will get you in right away after you make that statement!

Your symptoms are on the extreme end of bad for wisdom teeth infections. You need antibiotics right away. You also need to tell your dentist that you need to be able to reach him 24 hours a day until the infection shows signs of being reduced. If the antibiotics DO NOT provide relief after ONE day, PHONE him back or get yourself to the hospital emergency department.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, phone the dentist first thing this morning!!!

Pain killers or plenty of alcohol! I know which I prefer....

i crush up anadine or paracetamol and spread it on me gum but the old pikey way is to pack tobacco round it sounds gross dont it, I removed a large filling a few days ago that was fitted incorrectly and am sat here with a dental spike and forecepts trying to get the tooth out as I am typing here now lol....

Go to the nearest chemist and ask for painkillers that will help it, if they ask say your dentist recommended pain killers, no more i can tell you really lol, i woke up and my gums are swollen! and i already have had mine for years.

If you are really in such pain and discomfort perhaps you should present yourself at A&E at your local hospital and they could advise, alternatively they may make you a more urgent patient.

pull it :)=

whenever i have toothache i put salt on the tooth where it hurts and then just lie down and let it water, it gets better most of the time, try it see if it works, hope that helps x
