Can you make a baby tooth come out that should already come out?!

Question: My six year-old daughter has a front baby tooth that has not come out yet. Going by x-rays that the orthodonist and oral surgeon done there are two teeth growing above the baby tooth. I felt like she is too young for oral surgery and it made me very uncomfortable for her. She has some special needs so I am waiting until she is older. Hopefully, the baby tooth will come out eventually. They said it should have already been out. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Two of my children had this problem, we chose to wait and see what would happen with them. Eventually they did come in but it took several years.

I'm sure it will come out when it's ready. Hopefully her second tooth will push it out.

i think it will come out okay just wait cause i wouldnt want surgery at that age

my teeth came out really late, sometimes they are just slow, but i still have baby canines were they have got stuck, check them out or u might have problems later on.

To help the process and to make it better rinse baby's mouth with sea salt water

wellllllllll. if i were her, i would tell the dentist to pul it out. like my lil brother had one of his teeth pulled out.
isnt it difficult for her then to eat and stuff? i would def want mine pulled out!

well just be strong for her nd yea u shud wait till she older like bout 12 years old dats when they cud control HER NEEDS DATS ALL

wait until she is older, mdont worry the surgery is completly fine. youger children and babies hjave all kinds of intensive surgery. and its for her benifit

Rarely, some childrens permanent teeth fail to reabsorb the root of the baby tooth properly. This can lead to a longer period of time before the baby tooth comes out or very rarely the baby tooth does not come out and the permanent tooth will erupt out of position (however, this is very rare. they normally will eventually come out.). Wiggling the baby teeth daily, eating apples or similar foods that are difficult to bite, along with very chewy foods such as taffy and carmel can help loosen the tooth faster. I would recommend brushing after the taffy and carmel. The daily wiggling would help loosen the tooth faster. I would not consider surgery unless the permanent teeth fully erupt and the baby teeth remain in place and do not loosen.

unless the adult teeth are already coming in out of place and the pbaby tooth is still there, there is no need at the moment - but taking them out would help speed up the process and you would not have problems later on like overcrowding or teeth in the wrong place - and with adhd, you can suggest that they put her nder ansthesia for the surgery so the adhd would not be a factor. you could sit there with her while she is being ut under and sit with her while she wakes up, so she is relaxed.
