I just got my braces tightened and rubber bands on how do i deal with the pain?

It just hurts so much. I have tried everything tylenol and ambesol and orajel. What left is there to do please help. My pain is literally excessive.

Yeah, It does hurt and it sucks. Tylenol and advil the day you go in helps. Pain meds and all that help take off the edge but they do not make it go completely away. My daughter used these little plastic chewing boards that the Doctor gave her. It did hurt to bite on them, but it made the pain go away faster and she was able to eat and sleep. She also drank cool chamomile tea and put ice packs on her jaw. I know it sucks but it is truely worth it in the end. Call your doctor and see if they have those chewing board things, I do not know what they are called!
