Do whitening strips work? And if so which one is best?!

Question: I have exellent teeth never any cavities or even braces needed but they are yellowed and I have become somewhat self conscious about it because it looks aweful.

Are they a viable option instead of a high-priced dental procedures?

If you know the answer also tell me how they work. And how long I need to use them before I`ll see results.

crest white strips worked good for me.. but now i have sensitive teeth and my dentist said theyl be a little sensitive for as long as i have them, it ate away at my enemal, so just get whiteingin toothpast and brush real hard 3 times a day, or after every meal and you should be alright

they work really well, Crest

I have used Crest White Strips in connection with Rembrandt whitening toothpaste and got results. You typically use the white strips twice a day for two weeks. Then continue with a whitening toothpaste for daily maintenance. Do the strips once every six months.

I recently tried the Listerine dissolvable whitening strips and have to stay that they were pretty gross. I prefer the 1/2 hour, throw-a-way Crest kind.

Good luck!

I've heard good things about Crest.

It really depends on just how yellow your teeth are now. Any kind of whitening will get your teeth about 6 shades whiter than they are now. I know some peoples teeth are a lot whiter than others but their starting shade was actually whiter. When you get bleaching trays or laser whitening from a professional dental office, you pay a lot more because they work a lot faster, but not necessarily better. (I work in a dental office). The bleach that we sell in a professional office is a much higher percentage than you can buy over the counter in a store. Crest white strips DO really work, it just may take you a lttle longer to get to your desired shade. Hope I helped. Good luck and keep smiling.

most whitening stips will do their job effectivley no matter the brand. the important thing is that you use an enamle hardening toothpaste as the strips may cause your teeth to becocme sensative or damaged.
