Strange ulcer thingy?

i have what i thourt was just a normal ulcer on my inside cheek bit, buy now its come out like a firm flap beneath the surface, that rests on the cheek bit below of you know what i meen. it isnt pusy or anything, it just looks like a normal ulcer, but on top of a flap of cheek. the ulcer is fairly small, the lump bit inside the flap is like the size or 2 pieces of rice next to eachother, or half a fingernail.

its got larger and very painful over the past cupl of days.

any suggestions as to what it might be and what i should do?

By ulcer, you mean canker sore, right?

I take a Lysine supplement and that seems to help speed healing.

Unfortunately ulcers or canker sores can take 10-14 days to go through their cycle and heal.

I am not sure I entirely can visualize your description, but my take would be that if it changes appearance dramatically and/or does not seem to be slowly improving over the next few days, you might give your dentist a call and see if he'd have a peek at it for you.
