Need good look at how retainers look in mouth?!

Question: so I'm getting my braces off in 1 day and I need to know how retainers look in someones mouth, like with them smiling while the retainers are in. Photos are highly appreciated. =]]

I had to wear retainers about two years ago and they weren't so bad. I think they look better than braces. It will feel so weird to not have braces anymore (but good weird)
Here is a pic (I have no idea who the people are) :

Retainers look like braces kinda just without the squares. Just a wire that goes through the middle of your teeth.

Depends on what kind you cemented ones in the back of your teeth wire d ones that you take in and out a night or a invisaline is which i have and can not be noticed really

look it up on google, honest you don't want to see a picture of someones retainer, not so cute hehe.

personally i have braces myself, and i work at a dental office..i see them all the time.you can't really tell you have it on. dont worry.

My retainer fits nicely up high on my teeth. Some are lower. It's just a thin wire, much less noticeable than braces BY FAR! And because you can pop them out and use your clear one, you don't have to worry bout it much. That is, if you got a clear one.

HAH! Congratulations on getting them off! Retainers are painless look-wise. First off, most of the time, you don't have to wear them during the day, just at night. So you really don't need to worry. however if you insist on wearing it during the day, they go largely unnoticed. all that is visible, unless someone is looking DIRECTLY into your mouth at it, will be a couple brackets on your canines.

Basically, compared to braces, retainers are invisible.
