braces come after spacers and u keep spacers for about 4 days
Usually for about 8-10 days. Once the spaces between your teeth have been created, the orthodontist will schedule the appointment to put in the brackets and wires fairly quickly so that the spaces don't close back up.
This usually takes the better part of the morning or afternoon.
Usually, that depends on the individual orthodontist -- my son's ortho. usually schedules him every 5-6 weeks. He's close to the end of his treatment (I hope!)
Do everything your ortho tells you to do (brushing, flossing, wearing the elastics, etc.) You'll be rewarded with a beautiful smile! (Meaning the temporary pain will be worth it.)
