Do cheeks have Vains?!

Question: I get to go to the Dentist on Monday. I have 6 cavities (It's been a while since I have gone there so shush, lol)
They are going to give me about 4-8 shots, in my cheek. I have not known my cheek to have vains.
If they do have vains, please let me know!
If they don't, then please tell me why they put the shots in your cheek?

The 'shots' won't be in your cheeks... if it's an upper tooth/teeth that needs to be numb, the injection site is directly above it... if it's a lower tooth that needs to be numb, the injection site is all the way in the back of your mouth, behind your last tooth... this will numb the entire lower half of your mouth.

~Hope this helped... and don't be so nervous! You'll be just fine.

:)

Yes, almost every part of your bpdy has veins running through it(even bones). How do you suppose we blush? That blood rushing to your skin/ Dont worry about the shots.

1. Yes
2. VEINS

Yes, they have veins...small, but there.

Vain isn't a noun... it is an adjective... so from the context of you actually typed.... no... but they do, however, have veins... because veins carry used blood... without them.... you would have hypoxia in your cheeks... lol

also this, if they are giving you a shot in your cheek, it's not so much to have the medicine carried off by your blood system, but rather to numb the nerves =)
