Advanced periodontal disease, then what?!

Question: ok i know im gonna be mourning these teeth, however i dont understand the process, as in ive lost my molars, so will i get just a partial plate, or just pull em all and get dentures ? the puffy red, swolleness is already up to dog teeth, and i just found loose one. Do i decide to pull em , or does a dentist ?

The dentist will probably reccomend whether you have them extracted or not. The final decision is up to you.

Remember that retaining teeth if you can is good because they help stabilise the denture.

I suggest consulting with a dentist and then getting a second opinion about what course of treatment is best for you. If possible, it would be better to retain some teeth to help support partial dentures. If you have your remaining teeth repaired they may last a long time. In some respects getting dentures is trading one set of problems for another.

Most dentists won't extract healthy teeth.
