Why does my tooth hurt?!


Question:

Why does my tooth hurt?

I had a molar pulled on the left side on the bottom. I am taking pain medicine but instead of the pain being where the tooth was pulled, it is on the right side. The pain medicine is not helping. Any advice? Please!

I had the work done about three hours ago. The pain on the other side didnt start until after I left the dentist office. It is on top instead of on bottom. My husband says maybe it is sinus pain but I am not having any problems with my nose, just a sore throat.
