I don't think so....My 16 year old son has had his for 3 years and I am not aware of anyone laughing at him in that time. Cool thing about braces these days is that you can change the colors periodically to suit your taste. And if they do, just think, when you bite them for being mean you will leave a real cool mark.....J/K

No, because braces are cool. There are people of all ages that have braces. If anyone laughs at you they are probably just jealous. I have braces and no one ever laughs at me.
