Nope they're nothing being put on! Might hurt a couple of days after for a lil bit now and then, but they're not that big of a deal trust me. I was stressing over getting them and they turned out to be nothing at all, so you got nothing to worry about! =]
dont know aboutpain. But i think they look sweet.
whenever you get them on they dont hurt like when there putting them on but as you wear them like the first and 2nd day they hurt! Im about to get mine off and they havent been that bad. Just take some tylenol or motrin and it will be fine. They really do a good job! Its a good choice.
No, it didn't hurt me when they put it on. But you will feel discomfort the first week or so, tylenol or whatever will help. Also the inside of your lips might get cut with the metal, so make sure the orthodonist gives you wax to put on it. But you will get used to them quickly, they aren't as bothersome as people make them seem
No, it does not hurt GETTING them on. When they put them on you feel a little bit of pressure which makes it a bit uncomfortable but like 4 hours after your teeth with hurt like nothing youve ever felt in your mouth. But, they will work fast and your smile will be almost straight within 6 months!! :)
It doesn't hurt when you get them on, it just feels weird. It'll feel sore the next few days following. Make sure you listen to your orthodontists instructions. The better you take care of them and follow your instructions, the sooner you'll get them off.
it doesn't hurt getting them applied, there will just be pressure on your teeth. They will eventually put metal "bands" around your back teeth with small hooks on them for later use with the small rubber bands. This will cause a sense of pressure too, but not unbearable. Also occasionally they will need to "tighten" the wires running through the metal pieces glued to your teeth....
You'll be fine, its just a discomforting pressure that soon goes away by the end of the day. :-) TAKE CARE OF THEM AND YOUR TEETH. :-)
It doesn't hurt getting them put on. It hurts every time they tighten them - or at least it did when I had braces 30 years ago! But seriously, it's worth it in the end. Just take care of your teeth, because it would suck to have false teeth or partials, and your parents (or whoever) will have spent a good deal of money on them! Brush, floss, don't do meth! My dentist always tells me what beautiful teeth I have. I wish my older sister would have had braces, and so does my mom.
Its true like all the other it does not hurt when they are putting them on. Except when they pull on your teetch obviously. First they must put spacers on you which make your teeth real sore. In the beggining you might not even be able to eat. I know i didn't eat at all. You might even not wanna talk. When your teeth start getting straight the less the pain.
I dont know about painkillers I still felt them real sore.
my teeth were sore for the first week I got my braces on. I didn't eat anything hard ...basically soft foods. I remember goin out to eat and had mashed potatoes and french fries as my meal lol cuz they were soft. Good luck with ur braces!! U will be pleased with the outcome in the end.
