Well that is usually up to your orthodontist to decide. They will tell you when you are getting close to getting them off. Don't become too impatient since you just got them on. Remember to follow all the rules and brush your teeth at least 3 times a day. General treatment time is usually 2-3 years, but if your teeth are really bad it could be longer. The better you take care of your teeth and don't break any brackets the quicker treatment time will be.
