My wisdom Teeth?!

Question: I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and i got stitches, i am wondering if i accidentally undid the stitches when i was brushing. There was a piece of thread in the back of my mouth, and i think i undid it because it got longer. Is it even possible to undo the stitches?

i had the same problem when i had my wisdoms taken out. mine was really short thread though. so when i brushed and undid one stitch, the thread came out entirely cos it was short. i'd say if its friggin long, just quit tugging on it an brush carefully. try gargling more instead of brushing all the time. when do you get your stitched out? its the weirdest feeling when they take it out. for me, it was near a nerve that made my whole body tremble and i couldnt quit laughing cos it was so spontaneous. its a blasssstttt to go get them out so ENJOY!

It is possible, however these days dentists tend to use the kind of stitches in the mouth that dissolve on their own, so if you removed the thread from brushing, I wouldn't worry about it.....unless you start bleeding profusely.

im sure its possible, but call your dr just to make sure, dont listen to people here, they are not dentists

I bet those teeth were really smart

yes they do falll out keep your mouth clean and it will be fine rinse with warm saltwater you will heal guicker

Most stiches are dissolving so that they don't need to be removed. they simply fall out after a few days. I had mine out with the same thing. Cept i never found my stiches... pretty sure they went down with the mashed potatoes.

ASK THE DENTIST

It is possible but nowadays the stitches that they use dissolve so this is normal. If you start to bleed a lot I would contact your dentist.

no telling---those stitches dissolves after a while---they may be dissolving if it has been long enuff
