Question:

they want to put him in hospital and run antiobiotics thru him. he refuses to go. has anyone ever had a experiance like this.

Answers:

A lot depends on who wants to put him in the hospital, the dentist or a regular doctor? If the dentist is saying he needs to go to the hospital, then by all means he should go! A dentist is accustomed to treating dry sockets and oral infections and if he thinks a hospital is called for, it really is.
If a regular doctor is saying that, then I think he should go back and see the dentist to find out what he wants him to do. The big thing he has to understand is that it is not going to get well by itself. The cause of a dry socket is that no blood clot formed or it came out after the extraction. The blood clot is the first step in the healing process and without it I don't know that it will ever heal properly.
