Important..Please answer ! I'm 31 and I still have my babyteeth.?!

Question: Like I said, I'm 31 and I still have my babyteeth, a couple of them seem to be getting loose to pull but I am unsure. Do you think I should see a dentist ? When I goto a store, the owners keep telling me I should buy some candy so they will rot out but I will not do it. I know that I will get another set of teeth when these fall out, but I'm getting really impatient..I'm tired of looking silly everytime I smile. What do you think I should do ?

Hey, listen to this!!

My baby teeth fell out at the normal age; my adult teeth grew in, and fell out; and new baby-sized teeth grew in their place. Three sets of teeth in one mouth in one lifetime!

There should be a prize for that!

i think you should put a picture, cause i want to see!
and i think you should go to the dentist.

why are you acknowledging this now???

you should not have baby teeth, def have a growth defect or tumor.

what ever the underlying cause is, its not gonna be good

You should DEFINITELY go see a dentist ASAP. I think there is a problem with your teeth and gums, but the dentist should be able to fix the problem in a matter of months, perhaps. Try to get your dentist to recommend an orthodontist as well once your teeth improve. In the mean time, this is what I would do on my own if I were you: brush and floss everyday (obviously), AND **every night get a wet towl and go over/slide the towl on your gums (especially) and teeth. I read this in a magazine, and apparently, the method should help a little at least.

Hope this helps!

This condition is known as "retained deciduous teeth" and it varies between individuals. In some cases deciduous teeth contain well-formed roots in which case the treatment might be to simply cap them. If yours are loose then it sounds like this hasn't happened, in which case the treatment will probably be extraction. Either way, you really do need to see a dentist in order to determine the treatment that will be safest and most comfortable for your particular situation.

Go to the dentist and have some x-rays taken.
