I am 35 years old. Can I be teething?!

Question: my jaw hurts when chewing

Answers: my jaw hurts when chewing

no your not teething. only babies go through teething. you should probably see your dentist about it.

You're wisdom teeth come through at anytime, I've seen them come through on 67 year olds!
But it may be soemthing else if you're whole jaw hurts. See your dentist and get some x-rays :)

Depends on whether your wisdom teeth have ever come in, if impacted or if you even had them removed.

Another possibility might be TMJ.
Signs and symptoms of TMJ disorders may include:
* Pain or tenderness of your jaw
* Aching pain in and around your ear
* Difficulty chewing or discomfort while chewing
* Aching facial pain
* A clicking sound or grating sensation when opening your mouth or chewing
* Locking of the joint, making it difficult to open or close your mouth
* Headache
* Uncomfortable bite
* An uneven bite, because one or more teeth are making premature contact

You may feel pain or tenderness, even when you aren't moving your jaw. But in most cases, the pain or tenderness worsens when you move your jaw.

Contact your dentist for accurate diagnosis.

no you probably have that jaw lock thing. Get to your dentist and see what's wrong. YOu might even just have a cavity coming or something also. YOu can't teeth at 35...cough cough
