What does nitrous oxide feel like?
I'm afraid of having dental work done and they want to use this. What kind of experience will it be?
Answers:
It depends on how you react to the medication (inhaled essentially scentless gas). It can make you feel really peacful and calm or make you giggle. If the concentration is turned up too high it can make you feel nauseous. Usually it is a pleasant experience though. I would go for it if you are nervous because you will have little anxiety but you will be aware enough to know what is going on so there is no "loss of control".
