I have this white thing on my gums, above my tooth?!

Question: I have no idea how I got it or what is it.
It's located like this

It's white and very red around it. It's about 5 mm long. It does look like a cut but I know it's not. It hurts really badly when I touch it.
It started to hurt about 3 days ago but last night I noticed the white thing and today it got bigger.
What is it? What cream/lotion can I use to make it disappear?
Thank you

sounds like a canker sore. It will be gone in a few days but before that it's gonna hurt.

try a numbing gel or something like Orajel, Anbesol...Also they have rinses there's one called Rincinol that you might try.

where the hell did you get that pic? lol

It could be a sign of infection of a tooth in that area or your gum. The infection could spread, go systemic or make you very sick.

It is important to go to a Dentist and have this looked at. I put it off too long one time and had to have the tooth pulled, which I have regretted ever since.

Dear Jenny, what u described is what is called (Aphthus ulcer) which is an ulcer developed suddenly on gums, very painful when touch, extremely painful to salt and pepper. it is of unknown cause but may be due to stress and tension, hormonal changes(puberty, menopause, or during days of the period).. it is a self limiting disease ( self healing within 10 to 14 days) no treatment will resolve it immediately but the treatments just alleviate the associated pain.. different ointments, paints and mouth washes are available.. the best medication is the ( Kinaloge in ora base ) from Bristol-Myer SQUIBB Co. use it 2 to 3 times daily , avoid salt and pepper and god welling u get well.. best wishes of well being from Egypt

It's probably a canker sore or a boil on your gum. You may try rinsing with hydrogen peroxide (diluted as directed on the bottle). Also, you can buy myrrh gum tincture (available at health food stores and even most Wal-Mart stores now carry it int he herbal section). This is very bitter, but it will help clear up infection. I use it anytime I get a sore in my mouth.
