After removal of my braces....?!
Question: Okay, so, I get my braces off soon-ish. Like before summer at the most. And at that point, I'll have had my braces for 2 1/2 years. I'm so afraid that my teeth will look gross like some people I know. With disgusting staining around where the brackets used to be. I brush my teeth everyday. And my orthodontist says my oral hygiene is great. i'm still freaked out about it. So if I have that problem, with the staining, what can I do to get rid of it?

well, most-likely if you kept your oral hygiene the same as before you got your braces on, and still brushed well. chances are you wont exactly have stains in your teeth.
but i did, because i did not listen to my orthodontist, i drank dark-colored drinks, like pepsi, etc. you should still have the same color tone if u tended to listen to your orthodontist.
but i bleached my teeth soon after i got my braces off. Professionally bleached, by visiting a Cosmetic Dentist. i suggest you do the same too, your teeth wouldnt match well, IF you have stains, and if you use store products like whitening strips, those wont be very effective. so, definetely get your teeth bleached professionally if you experience having stains after getting your braces off.
tip, brushing wont get rid of the stain, it can take a couple years to even lighten your teeth a shade up by just brushing your teeth regularly twice a day.
Cosmetic Dental Bleaching is the way to go.
