Wisdome teeth removal!! HELP ME IM SCARED!!!?!


Question: ok 29hrs to go till i get them out

i have realy bad anxiety and i am scared toooooo scared!!!

i am not going under i am just getting navacain

will it make me throw up??
what will happen???
i am soooooooooooooooooooo scared an i dont know if the infection is gone!
they cant take it out if this is
omg i am freaking

I had mine out two days ago and I am just fine.

Novocaine doesn't usually make people throw up but it can make your throat go a bit numb so just breath slowly and evenly through your nose, swallow a little when it gets uncomfortable.

If there's an infection, no they won't take the tooth out. They'll give you antibiotics till the infection clears and then take the tooth out.

Afterwards you will feel sore but much better, I promise! They give you GOOD pain pills and you get to eat milkshakes for dinner for a few days.
I had a wisdom tooth pulled this morning. They will numb you and you won't feel a thing. It was quick and painless. You'll be fine...trust me. Report It

    • You should be happy to get the darn things out. The anxiety is much worse than the actual removal. Maybe you can listen to an iPod with soothing music during the procedure. It was slightly uncomfortable, but not the worst experience I've ever had. Good luck!!
    I'm getting mine out at 9 am tomorrow. I'm going under. I'm nervous, but it'll be okay.

    Novocain doesn't make you throw up. it's the Codeine that will, if you don't take it with food. you'll be fine.

    if you are that nervous, see if they can give you laughing gas. it'll calm you down. my step-brother just had his 4 removed, and had the gas. he was GREAT...
    i don't know they just gassed me with crazy ****... i was out of it for like a day it was awesome and it doesn't even hurt just one pinch for each tooth. ahaha i thought i was in yoshi land wow it was fun.
    youll be ok just do exactly what the dentist tells you to do. no using straws to drink sodas.
    I just felt pressure like they were trying to pull my ear out through my mouth. Wasn't painful at all. and was eating pizza that night. glad to get the damn things out of my mouth.
    CHILL!!!! Just get it over with. If you do get sick it will only be for a short while. If you don't get them taken care of it will hurt much longer. Everything is going to be OK.
