I'm a dentist.

Smoking promotes periodontal disease, which is one of the causes of halitosis. It also promotes the growth of the tiny little fuzzy things on the top of your tongue (called filiform papillae). When these things grow long, they can collect food particles that eventually rot, thus turning your tongue into a source of bad odors.

So yeah, smoking helps to turn your mouth into a filthy sewer.

i hate people who smoke they smell sooooo bad, and there are no health benefits to ANYONE. you should really try to quit its a nasty habit

Congratulations on day eight! Keep it going!

Smoking can contribute to bad breath, but there are people who suffer from bad breath due to lack of dental hygiene (decaying tooth/teeth, food trapped in a whole etc.) or
halitosis. I'm sure they are other cause, but to answer your question again, smoking can contribute to bad breath. Just think of all of the chemicals in cigarettes, including tar, formaldehyde and ammonia. None of those things smell good at all.

yes but not only smoking makes it bad, any thing in your mouth does, even just keeping your mouth closed, ( smell your own breath just after wake up.
and besides bad breath, you may get sick so you better quit.
Tobaco increase your risks of cancer

Smoking can contribute to gum disease. you might have gum disease which would expalin the rotton egg smell.. go to the dentist and get checked out before things get worse and teeth start falling out.
congrats on quitting
