I haven't wore my retainers in a while?!

I haven't wore my retainers in a while?

Will they realign my teeth again? I lost them, and now I found them. When I put it on at night, and remove them in the morning, my teeth hurt. Does that mean its working?

yes, I remember the days of the retainer. If it hurts that means it's pushing them back to where they should be.
