I looked all over the web for the ingredients in this brand of calcium. I found two, and only two, that would divulge the specific form of calcium in it. In the first one, it justifies the use of calcium carbonate as a legitimate form of calcium to be used in a supplement, but didn't specifically say what it actually was.

"Absorption of calcium citrate is higher than that of calcium carbonate. However, for practical purposes, any form of a calcium supplement, such as calcium citrate, calcium gluconate, or calcium carbonate should be satisfactory for general health purposes."

In the second one, it actually listed what it was.

"Calcium - 600 mg - 60% daily value
(as calcium carbonate)"

Calcium Carbonate is blackboard chalk. Your bones have only about 10% calcium of this type in them. The body generally throws off this type of calcium as toxic and it ends up as cataracts, bone spurs, kidney stones. The trick is to prescribe small amounts of it and limit the amount one takes of it, so the evidence of it doing the things described is minimal.

Additionally, it is loaded with excipients that are harmful to you. The magnesium stearate is priceless. This is a "trans fat" and immune suppressant, as well as it inhibits the absorption of nutrients into the body by up to 80%. The label doesn't say, but typically these types of pills have talc residue on them from the machinery that makes the pills. This is carcinogenic.

The amount of magnesium stearate in it depends on the total milligrams of items put in. It claims 600 mg. of calcium and only 40 mg. of magnesium. For starters, it should have 300 mg. of magnesium to be the ideal amount for the body to absorb correctly. 2:1 is the best ratio. But let's take the 640 mg. of goodies and multiply it by the 0.05 to get the amount of magnesium stearate in it. 640 x .05 = 32 mg. of the immune suppressant. Yummm.

You are taking 2 pills per day at 1,200 mg. of calcium, so that's 2,400 mg. of calcium x .05 = 120 mg. of that garbage you are ingesting plus you need to add the other ingredients like the magnesium to get a better count. Now it typically takes at the fastest rate for pill disintegration 45 minutes to dissolve. That is the fastest. Additionally, your stomach must be acidic so that when the pill gets to your jejunum where calcium is absorbed, it must be acidic for this absorption to take place. If this doesn't happen, the calcium could be thrown off as toxic and your liver will dump it into the blood stream to be deposited somewhere in the body.

It sounds like it's being dumped into your tooth and most likely other places that you just are not aware of yet.

The body is all about balance. It is important that you get that balance, especially in the minerals and vitamins you take. If you take single element pills, you will create an imbalance unless you get the other elements of the complex, or your body will extract it from the body to make up the complex it needs. Now you become deficient by taking a vitamin or mineral. This happens all the time from people that take too many zinc tablets, especially when the zinc is from the wrong source, where the body becomes deficient in copper due to this.

Go to: www.healthline.cc ( not .com) and order the Coral Complex. This product has the correct balance of calcium and magnesium, as well as other cofactors found in nature because it is from once living source and the product does NOT contain ANY excipients, only pure product. It's the best I've found. The calcium will have the best chance of going where you want it to and not creating the other problems listed above.

I would take the calcium carbonate garbage back to the store where you bought it and tell them to give it to the toxic waste dump, please, and to give you your money back because it is causing you to have these problems.

good luck

no connection, only coincidence
