i just got my invisaligns yesterday.
The worst part was getting the impressions made, mostly because i hate impressions in general. I was in the orthodontist chair for about and hour and 15 minutes.

It takes about six to eight weeks for them to get back from the lab in california.

On the day you get the actual trays, they could have to put attachments on, or sand between some teeth.
I got two attachments. one on top, one on the bottom. They put this gel on the tooth the attachments go on, the snap your trays on your teeth. then they cement them with this light thing. they take the trays off, and then chip of the extra. its not to awful.
I hear sanding isn't bad. i'll have to get some in about six weeks between four teeth, but i would of had to have those teeth pulled. I hear it dosen't hurt, and the basicly just use a piece of sandpaper.

The Invisaligns hurt for a couple days, not bad.
The major downfall, is that you have to take them off to eat, but when you first get them, it puts more pressure on the teeth when you try to take them off. Thats the biggest problem so far.

Some insurance cover them, our familys didn't [ i'm 14]

Its case by case of how much it costs.
in mine, it was about $30 more than metal braces, and i would get them off 4 months earlier. the total cost was about $5400.

overall, i like them alot. i'll only have them for 6 months on top, and 9 months for the bottom.
Get invisaligns, they're worth it!
