Question for dentists, please??!
Question: I recently bought a Water Pik. How well do they work, and is there anything I should know when using it? Have you seen first hand, as a Dentist, its benefits? Do you really not have to floss if you use it? Also, the instructions say you can use an antimicrobial solution, but it doesn't say what exactly you can use. I have been to their website and researched the internet but can't find anything. What can I use without causing damage to the machine? Thank you for what you do and thanks in advance for any info!!!

I just got a WaterPik also, just to answer part of you question. You can use mouthwash instead of water, I diluted Listerine with water and the thing still works great. My mouth hasn't felt this clean since my last cleaning. I love it.
