Gums inbetween teeth ????!

Question:

Gums inbetween teeth ????

THEY HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS ALL MY LIFE ..... DOES ANYBODY KNOW A SURGERY FOR THIS ? AND IF SO DOES IT HURT ? AND HOW MUCH IS IT ?

Answers:

You are supposed to have gum tissue in between your teeth. If you are talking about excessive tissue, where the gingiva actually covers part of the crown and makes your teeth look short, then you may need a simple gingevectomy (removal of gingival tissue) or that along with removal of some bone around the teeth to prevent the gums from growing back, depeding on what the surgeon finds at the time of the procedure.
