Dentists, hygenists...etc. Teeth question!?!

Question: If you bleach your teeth up to the point where they turn blue-ish and are a little see-through at the tips, then you stop bleaching them....Will they ever go back to the way they once were (not see through especially).

The tips of your teeth will always be more translucent than the rest of the tooth but if you stop bleaching they should pick up normal staining and make it a little less obvious. However, if you want to keep them at the shade they are just without the tips being noticeable you would have to consider veneers. A veneer is a porcelain cover for your tooth that does not bleach or stain so you can pick the shade. You do have to remove tooth structure for a veneer so my advice would be to allow the teeth to stain a little and see if they become less noticeable.

it is best not to reach that point in the first place
