Annoying retainers?!
Question: so,i got my braces off about a month ago,and i still talk funny with my retainers in (the kid you can take in and out) and sometimes when i talk the bottom one randomly pops out and it gets very annoying when im trying to talk to people.
any advice? (:

Your retainer should not be popping out when you are talking. They should be fit snug to your teeth.
I know retainers suck, but if you don't wear them, YOUR TEETH WILL SHIFT!
Make an appointment w/ your orthodontist to adjust the lower. Tell him/her about your concern. It may be possible to have perm. retainers placed.
Perm. retainers are cemented to the back of your teeth. You can't see them and they won't bother you as much. In a few years they will be removed. Perm. retainers are more effective than removable retainers.
I had the same problem at first. I've almost had it for a year and it still happens sometimes. It is just probably loose the orodonsit will fix it next time you go in.
I got mine off in May and my orthodontist bonded a permanent retainer behind my teeth so that I didnt have to deal with the ones you take out. My teeth havent moved a bit and it will be there forever, or until they remove it. Ask your ortho if its possible to have one put in.
