Question:
I love smoking weed. i got my wisdom teeth pulled today. if i smoke will i get a dry socket?
i got my top two wisdom teeth pulled today at 11am today. i smoke a lot of weed and i was wondering what the chances of me getting a dry socket are if i smoke tonight? Please be honest bc i really dont want to get a dry socket.
Answers:
As a dentist I can tell you that smoking ANYTHING within the first 72 hours following an extraction can cause a dry socket which is sometimes more painful than the tooth was before the extraction. I am assuming in your case this would not matter much, marijuana kills brain cells and if you have little enough sense to post this question then I say by all means go ahead and smoke as it sounds like you are already too far gone for any type of help so dry socket should be the least of your concerns.
