Can a general dentist (not orthondontist) do braces well ?
For a 14-year-old who needs to pull out 4 teeth (2 on top and 2 on bottom), Would the braces be well done by a general dentist? Leave any effects? Please help. Thank you.

I wouldn't recommend having braces by a general Dentist. They go and get certificates to be able to do it but it's not what they have their degree in, and it's not what they specialize in. I haven't heard good reports about this situation. Orthodontists go to extra school to perfect orthodontics. That's why they are Orthodontists. Not Dentists who do braces.
