Do wisdom teeth, and rest, eventually go bad, or can you have them forever?!

Question: I have all of my teeth wisdom included in, and my dentist advised me not to touch them since they're all healthy and functional. However do they eventually go bad, wisdom/and others, even if you brush them and take care of them royally?

Also, do the wisdom teeth generally create more problems than the others?

I'm trying to find out if it's better than having to come back when you're 40/50, to get them removed because I'd rather do it now than later.

However, if brushing/flossing/cleaning will prevent them from going bad, forever, well then all is good.

yes definitely brushing, flossing and cleaning will alleviate your chances of having bad teeth but like anything else in life, things are not meant to really last forever as we want them to be. It really depends on how much you take care of your teeth or anything else for that matter. As long as you have room for all your wisdom teeth then it's not going to be a problem. The problem only starts when you start neglecting them and you wind up with a cavity. Providing you brush, floss and see your dentist then your chances of maintaining good teeth are great. Oh and yes good genes also helps.

Teeth do not have an expiration date. If you have good dental hygiene, your teeth will not "go bad" and you can keep them forever. The reason that so many people have their wisdom teeth removed is that they often come in crooked and cause crowding, and therefore pain, in the mouth. If they grew in straight and normal, consider yourself lucky, and treat them just like the rest of your teeth.

NOTHING LAST FOREVER, BUT WITH PROPER DENTAL CARE SHOULD LAST FOR AS LONG AS NEEDED, YOUR DENTIST WILL INFORM YOU IF AND WHEN NEED TO BE EXTRACTED
