Would I be put to sleep during a wisdom tooth surgery?!

Question: You will be asleep if it is surgery. If your tooth has grown in and is in your mouth already you probably will get it extracted by the dentist and they will just numb it. Good Luck :)

Yes, with a baseball bat.

No! The risk of putting someone under sedation is far greater then any advantage!!!

Dentistry pain killers have come on in leaps and bounds. All will be fine with minimum discomfort.

Only in hospital.
The dentist will not do it these days.
I just had an injection.

i went to a dental surgeons office and they knocked me right out with an IV sedation.
trust me, being put under is what you want, they give you the needle and it's over in a second

Oral surgeon. It is quite expensive on the front end but will result in fewer consequences and expense on the recovery end.

All dentist and oral surgeons are huge egoist. I prefer an egoist with the most direct and "senseless" experience on the part of the patient.

Take the deep sedation.

no

no you will be drilled with fear

I had my lower 2 wisdom teeth out in 2003 and was put to sleep. Then in 2005 I had braces put on so I had 4 of my other teeth pulled just with a shot and gas. With the later, you are still awake and you feel the pulling and hear the scraping. To me that makes it so much worse. So having experienced both (even though the regular teeth are probably much easier) I would definitely be put to sleep!
So, it depends on what you are worried about.
If you are worried about the pain. Both options will numb the area and you won't have any pain.
If you are worried about your state of mind, being put to sleep wins in my book!
