Will sneezing cause a blood clot from a tooth extraction to fall out?!

Question: I have mild hay-fever and though I take medicine to help it, it only stops my eyes from watering and doesn't stop the fact that I have at least 2 sneezing episodes a day where I sneeze for a couple of times in a row.

I had a molar extracted today and I am scared that this sneezing will cause the blood cot to come out and I don't want dry socket.

Will it cause the clot to fall out or is there anyway to stop sneezing? My hay fever medicine is expensive enough as it is and it just cost me $200 to get the tooth extracted.

OMG! You have my deepest sympathies! I've had teeth extracted (before I got braces and, later, my wisdom teeth) so I know what a pain it is.

First, the bad news: yes, sneezing can cause the blood clot to come out early and can contribute to dry socket. Here's the website where I found that:

Now I'll look for some way to help prevent the sneezing but, like you, I have allergies and I'm not optimistic.

EDIT: Still no answer on how to prevent sneezing but here's another website about preventing dry socket. Guess you better be icing, they recommend ice on both the pages I've marked for you so far:
