Is it pain to remove wisdom teeth .?!

Question:

Is it pain to remove wisdom teeth .?

Answers:

I've had all four wisdom teeth pulled. Two of them came out easily, with little pain, while two turned out to be more painful and difficult. It depends on how the teeth are coming in. Sometimes the oral surgeon must make a small cut in your gum in order to extract the tooth, and this is more painful than if the tooth can simply be pulled right out.

If you're lucky and your wisdom teeth can be pulled right out, it doesn't hurt much and is over with very quickly.

You should be able to choose what kind of anesthesia you receive when you have your teeth taken out, and this will of course help with the pain.

Your doctor or dentist should also warn you about dry socket, a painful problem that can sometimes develop after you have your teeth removed. Dry socket can hurt a lot, but it can also be treated. If you have a lot of pain in the days after your wisdom teeth are removed, call back and let them know what's going on.
