I hade my wisdom teeth taken out 3 yrs ago,the doctor said my lip would be numb forever due to nerve damage.?
but some times my whole right cheek gets a weird sensation in it,should i go back to the doctor for this?

I hate that so many people are lawsuit crazy these days. Geesh.
It is extremely possible that the dentist couldn't do a complete extraction with out some nerve damage, depending on the positioning of your roots. Sometimes minor nerve damage is just plain unavoidable.
The reason your cheek has that "weird sensation", is the nerves are trying to reconnect. That's completely normal. If you'd feel better, sure, go back to the doctor and see what he says. And yes, you're fine going back to the same doctor.
