I have braces that medicate pay for and i get them off next month. will medicate pay for me to get the metal?

retainers or will i have to pay for it myself because i don't wont the plastic ones. or will they just give me the metal ones free. And do they file your teeth down and whiten them so they can look pretty. i just want to know because i hear people talking about it but i want to make sure it's true. will it hurt when it get my braces off. should i take an tylenol before i go i get them off on the 17th of july. if i dont wear the retainers will it mess my teeth up. when i get them off will i get like a goody bag or something.LoL

It will not hurt to get your braces off, don't worry. I would suggest wearing whatever kind of retainer they recommend because your teeth will go back to their original positions with out it. Usually you only will need to wear your retainer at night.
