Opinions on Cerac dental crowns?!


Question: Had a Cerac dental crown on my front tooth three days ago, not sure if I am happy with it. It is a bit sensitive and feels rough on the back. Should I go back and talk to the dentist?

The roughness would be from the crown cement and will gradually reduce with brushing and normal activity.

Sensitivity is quite normal as the tooth under the crown was shaved down to accommodate the cap. This will disappear shortly. If for some reason it doesn't then make an appointment with your dentist. A root canal treatment may be necessary.
