Two sets of teeth?!

Question: Are humans the only species that get two sets of teeth in a lifetime ?

Answers: Are humans the only species that get two sets of teeth in a lifetime ?

pups and kittens lose teeth to get others although not in years like ours the first 6 months they lose their baby teeth

No, I think sharks get new teeth throughout their life...

no other humans do

Sharks get several, as far as I am aware, they just replace them till they die, unless you mean by the question 'only 2 sets', then I am not sure

obviously it's not too relevant but at least one species of dinosaur had several rows, where the oldest were on the outside and fell out occasionally and the new ones grew inside to replace them
