Answers:
All dental whitening products work in the same way, they all use some form of peroxide. Your teeth will get just as white while using home whitening strips as they would at the dental office (it may just take a little longer). Using baking soda on your teeth may initially remove superficial staining but it also removes enamel, so I would not advise using that very often. Generic name whitening products use the same percentage of peroxide as the brand name ones, so don't be afraid to try the cheaper ones.
