I need an analogy for the reasons to use floss...?
i'm a current dental student and one of our instructors is asking us to look for oral hygiene instructions/explanations in the form of analogies that we could tell our patients. I'm answering the question "why should i floss?" and although I know the importance of flossing, I'm having trouble thinking of how to explain it in laymen's terms so that a patient could understand. I'm wondering if any of you dentists or hygenists out there have something in mind. Thanks!
