try ice and advil or tylenol. see you dentist if the pain continues.

Gurgling salt water helps or take aleve

Sorry to hear you have a tooth ache. If your MD has not said you cannot take Tylenol or Advil---here is a great way to get that area to at least hurt less by taking 3 (200 mg. of Advil or an Ibuprophen) with 2 (200 to 250 mg. of Tylenol) take these 5 tabs together and do this every 6 hours---DO NOT take this combination of drugs any sooner that every 6 hours.

Then, immediately make arrangements to see a general dentist --they will examine the area, take an x-ray and evaluate what is going on underneath your gum line and in the tooth and bone.

You have infection in that tooth if there is pain---or if you fell, the area has been bruised and that is what could be causing your pain---but you did not mention an accident--so I am going to have to assume you are experiencing a periodontal issue (gum infection and or tooth infection) which is also the reason that teeth become Mobil.

Warm salt water rinses can also soothe that area---BUT PLEASE do not delay in seeing a dentist.

Take care of your tooth as soon as possible with the help of a professional---infection will need an antibiotic and they can help you with that.

It it is a baby tooth and it is really loose I would pull it out yourself. And rinse your mouth with warm saltwater to help disinfect the area. Be sure not to brush the area. If you must, do it very lightly. Have you parents call the dentist to have them take a look at it. If it won't come out at home, have the dentist pull it. It won't take long at all and they can numb you so you don't feel it. If the area hurts get a numbing oinment at the store to help with the pain and take some Tylenol until you can get to the dentist.
