Your gingiva ("gums") is dehydrated due to the constant drying when mouth breathing. You could try to stop breathing through your mouth , like you previously did, which I do realize is not possible when you have a cold. Or, you can apply a thin layer of ky jelly to your gingiva of your upper front teeth before bed.

You probably have some kind of infection, or something... either that or you need to brush more often. I would definitely talk to a dentist about this. Doesn't sound good.

asounds like you might have a sinus infection- i'm not sure what makes teeth hurt from them, maybe pressure from the congestion?, but every time i have a bad sinus infection, my teeth hurt, too. the dry mouth is probably from sleeping with your mouth open. i'd go see a doctor to get an antibiotic.

a dry mouth can be causing your bad breath, you just need to keep the mouth hydrated by drinking lost of water. you must know that bad bacteria in the mouth can speed up their production in dry mouth. try to use an all natural oral care to compliment you good oral hygiene habits. sinusitis can also cause bad breath, just make sure that your mouth is well salivated. oral mouthwashes with essential oils are very helpful. but make sure that you oral care has no alcohol content. visit http://www.oramd.com for more bad breath cure tips.
