What do you think about a Dentist who fills cavities before he does xrays?!

Question: I had a cavity behind my front tooth, and the Dentist filled it before he did xrays, but it was obvious that it was just in that one spot. Is that bad.

No he did not do the wrong thing. A cavity in the front tooth is easy to see and easy to fix without xrays. Xrays are most helpful for in-between cavities on the back teeth. He probably just wanted to get your most immediate need fixed first.

I think that he should have taken x-rays first because their may be other cavities that he can't see.

Incompetent. A dentist or doctor that barely makes it though school is still called....................doctor.

He took the x-ray to see if the filling was a success. Because if the hole in the cavity isn't completely filled the filling will not last. By the way dentists don't use x-ray to find cavities they use their pick along with there trusty eyes.

Maybe he has X-ray vision :)

I think you should go somewhere else.
