Is it possible for the dentist to just use laughing gas for a cavity treatment for a minor cavity?

Some patients prefer not to have any form of anesthesia (anesthetic injection or nitrous oxide) if the decay does not go any further than the dentin, which is right under the enamel.

Once you get close to the pulp chamber, the risk of any sensation during the procedure increases.

Sooooooooooo, my answer is yes, providing it's just a very small area that needs restorative treatment.
