At 32 ( almost 32), I am fortunate to have to have neither done so far!
A root canal is really nothing. It's almost like having a tooth filled. My guess is wisdom teeth pulled. Although mine were all pulled out 50 + years ago.
I've never had a root canal either, and also hope to avoid it.
However, when I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled last winter, I had no problem whatsoever. I went in to the dentist's office, and he stuck an IV in my arm... the next thing I knew, I was lying on the couch at home, sans wisdom teeth. I took one Vicodin, but that was a purely preventative measure, because I felt no pain at all. I slept a lot, but 36 hours after I got the teeth out, I was good as new.
I think a root canal would be worse. I hate getting cavities filled, because the drill makes me really nervous and the sound drives me crazy... so a root canal would probably just be a longer, more intense version.
root canal when they hit the nerve will make you freakin jump out of your skin getting my wisdom teeth pulled was a breeze and if you own a blender it is even easier just throw your pizza in mc donalds whatever blend it up and drink away lol
